Big defender of his? I think he's a good coach. There is something to be said for being the longest tenured HC in the NFL. And there are a number of teams that would kill to have him.


Bud Adams knew he was going to have to make a choice between Young and Fisher. And he made it, in spite of how much he, himself, loved Young. I'd say he undoubtedly made the right decision. Good for Fisher. He made a tough choice by going back to Collins. Young gave them a better chance to win, but is a fucking shithead. Fisher had to prove a point, or none of the players/staff would respect him. He made his decision, and stuck to it. Again, I say good for him.

That's possible, but I think if there was any question they wouldn't renew Fisher's contract, that they would have fired him now, and brought back Young. But, that's just my lowly opinion. I mean, that's what I would do if I was Adams, and had lost faith in Fisher.

I can completely understand why. Adams, I'm sure, said to Fisher "You're ass is on the line. You've been with me a long time. Make some changes, or you're gone."


To be perfectly honest, I do think changes need to be made on the staff. The current group wasn't getting it done. Granted, there are a lot of factors at play here, and it would be hard to pin down exactly what the root cause of the 6-10 season is with so many contributing factors.

Say what you want about Romo, but I've been to the SA practices and seen his leadership and work ethic. Also remember that Bill Parcells was a big influence on him and how to handle the media, those are straight up BP answers. I agree with how he handles himself, football ins't everything, its his job not his life, so what if he loses a game, the world isn't going to end. I have a bad day at work and when I leave the J-O-B, I do just that leave that shit there and go home to my real life...
