For anyone interested in going to the home opener this thursday, October 3rd, follow the link below for discounted tickets. I get nothing from this, my company gets nothing from this. This just happens to be the link setup for our employees to purchase tickets for this game but I was told I could give this out because they're having trouble filling seats for this first game.
Go to www.dallasstars.com/clubcorp and use the promo code CLUB.
You will see what sections have seats available. Click on the section to see the seats available and click on the seat to see the price.
For example, section 109 has seats for $50 when ticket master has them listed at $74.
You'll probably have to create a TM account if you don't already have one.

I think this team is hit or miss. I was at last nights game also and thought the team looked good, but the week prior they looked like shit with almost the same players.
The top line will have to produce and hope for some goals from the rest. Kari will have to have a great year because the stars defense will have him facing a lot of shots.

I really hope they do well. New front office, re-vamped roster, and new garb should really give the Dallas Stars a boost this season. It's good for hockey and I enjoy the season much more when the local team is doing well and the city takes notice.

Dallas Stars 2013 season
Here's your official Dallas Stars thread for the 2013 season.
My ticket rep hooked me up with a pair of ticket behind the goal for last nights game against the Avalanche and it was a hell of a game. I haven't seen the Stars look this good in LONG time.
One of the first things you notice about our new team is the amount of speed we have on the ice, especially with Tyler Seguin. On top of speed, we've picked up some size both on offense and defense. Last night Valeri Nichushkin used his size to push through the Colorado D for a goal and I have a feeling we're going to see a lot more of that.
It's easy to tell that the team morale is A LOT higher this season. These young guys are building that trust with each other on and off the ice and it really shows.
Here's to a great season.
