I really don't care for the two car bump drafting we saw in the Bud Shootout. I hope they make the right changes before the race to restrict the ability of the cars to hookup for so many laps. I absolutely hate the yellow line rule especially on the last lap. It should be anything goes when going for the win on the last lap.

Also, what an embarrassing qualifying mishap for Hamlin and a poor showing for Toyota in general.

They already made a statement and notices to all the Cup teams yesterday stating there will be a change before the 500 in order to slow the cars back down to around 200mph in the draft. They claim this move will also free the cars back up a little and will eliminate all the 2 car packs. I don't recall reading how they were going to do it, but I assume they are going to issue new restrictor plates with smaller bores to all the teams like they do in every other instant where they want to slow them down.

He said it himself, the car did it. Driver skill was about 5% of it, the rest was all Hendricks motorsports. Gordon is sitting next to him with nearly the same speed. When he's trying to draft with 8 other cars driver skill will start to show.

I would say its a lot of motivation or just maybe some respect/charity from the other drivers.

right now the teams are using surge tanks and using about 60lbs of nitrogen on top of the cooling system to raise the boiling point......NASCAR said in the memo yesterday that everybody is going to be back on a standard 23lb radiator cap in the system. As weird as that sounds it will make the guys open the grills up and not run as much tape. 1/2" by 10" of tape is almost .4 of a second at daytona and talladega

edit....it's true, junior couldn't drive a greasy stick up a dog's ass with a jackhammer, but it makes for interesting radio chatter during practice lol
