He was just trying to slow him down to have a shot to win because he knew Bowyer had the better run coming down the back stretch as he was the pusher car. He wasn't mad about it all, he seemed pretty happy after the race considering he finished second.

yeah I saw his post race interview. I dont fully buy into the " I'm happy for him bit." but..... Not to sure I would call it happy though, his voice was actually kind of crackly. LOL

its probably the heat of the moment and Jeff who has had a bad year compared to years past coming short at the end and not getting the win. But then again Bowyer is leaving RCR so perhaps maybe some friction is there

I like how Trevor was saying Sunday night and Monday how he was ordered to pull off of Jeff Gordon and help Matt instead. Then after jack rousch had a chat with him, rousch tried to say no such orders were given. But today on one of the nascar shows, Trevor reiterated that he was ordered and almost threatened to not help Jeff.

He said he felt bad because after everything that Jeff has done for him, he pays him back like this. Though it wasn't his fault.

I give him props for not backing down. He said he will miss a restrictor plate race before being put in this position again.
Its a shame Rousch has that kind of influence with ford cars. Tony Stewart turned down helping Jeff though he runs Hendrick engines. Rousch is just a dick.
