Cowboys are just going to stay pat I guess
You don't build teams in free agency. You should only add key pieces. At this point, Cowboys aren't going to go from 8-8 to 12-4 by adding one or two big name free agents. That's what the draft is for. They need to save their money, focus on draft, and pick up what they can as people start getting cut. This is football 101.
You people want this, want that, bitch when smart decisions are made, and expect a Super Bowl every year. This is football 101. You say that but the last few years of the draft the cowboys have done pretty well. I think they are moving the right direction in the draft. I also think Denver just paid way to much for an over 30 injury prone defensive lineman. Lets see how smart that was when he is out for half the season again next year.Originally posted by mstng86 View PostI would love to believe they can build with the draft. You and I both know they lack the ability to do that.

The last 2 or so, yes. Kind of. Norm Hitzges did an in depth review of the last 5-7 years of draft picks, and where they are now. Then he did comparisons with other teams that consistently rank near the top. It's pretty fucking pathetic. I do think it's getting better, but I also don't think the scouts are the problem. Jerry blatantly disregards the scouting reports and scout team's rankings on players to get himself a shiny new toy that usually doesn't end up being worth two fucks. And I'm ok with his gambling depending on circumstances. But he's been on the losing end of too many gambles lately.
I'm ok with our current roster on that position. I think they've got much larger concerns to address. And beyond that, as long as the Wringling Brothers are at the helm, Dallas will never use any RB to their potential. They don't even use Murray like they should, and it has everything to do with piss poor coaching/play calling and nothing to do with injuries.Originally posted by blownaltered View PostI would like to see the cowboys pick up a good running back, either now or in the draft. Again we currently have another injury prone player.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.
