This bodes well for Dallas in that they don't have to face McCoy 2-3x per season, AND greatly diminishes current RB value which helps their position in the Murray situation, and any other possible free agent RB possibilities.

The balls on Kelly though. Holy shit. A LB that didn't even play last season? Wow.

Solid move. Beasley has become a solid slot guy and it allows them to spread the cap hit over several years and frees a couple of dollars up.

I'm not worried about Dez at all because he has very little leverage and the Cowboys can continue to franchise him.

It will be interesting to see what Murray can get from another team. I think someone out there will be desperate enough to give him enough money to where he comes back to Jerry and he says "Thanks, but not thanks."

I have a gut feeling that Peterson is going to do everything he can to force his way out of Minnesota and try to get with the Cowboys.

What a fucking dumbass. He had an opportunity to step in to the starting role to see if he could fill Murray's shoes, and he goes and does something stupid like this. Way to kill your career, dumbass!

Joseph Randle was arrested for marijuana possession. As if stealing underwear wasn't enough.

Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested on a drug charge in Wichita early Tuesday, according to news reports.

Randle, 23, was arrested after police responded to a disturbance call from his hotel room about 3 a.m. Tuesday. Local stations KWCH TV and KAKE TV broke the story this morning.

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department said Randle, 23, was arrested for possessing “a small amount of green botanical substance.” But it remains unclear what happened after his arrest: It does not appear he was taken to the county jail, sources say, and there is no mug shot.

He has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, officials said.

The NFL has also been calling the sheriff’s department for Randle’s arrest records.

A Wichita police spokesman did not immediately respond to The Dallas Morning News’ calls for comment. When asked for comment, Dallas Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple said via email, “Not at this time.”

When asked for a mug shot, a worker in the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department records department said there is no record of having been brought to the county jail. “But it’s on the news he has been arrested,” the woman who answered the phone said. “We aren’t finding the record of where he was booked in.”

Randle is a Kansas native. He used to play football at Wichita Southeast High School in Wichita.

Randle was arrested in Frisco last fall after police said he shoplifted a bottle of cologne and a pack of underwear from the Dillard’s at Stonebriar Mall.

He said the misdemeanor theft was “the biggest mistake” he’s ever made. Days after his theft arrest, he signed on as a spokesperson for MeUndies, who would help defray the cost of the $29,500 fine the Cowboys imposed on him.
