We have Hardy for assault on women, Dez for assault on mother, Brent for vehicular manslaughter, Randle has petty theft and possession taken care of (and backup for assault). Now if we can just get Adrian Peterson we can have child assault covered... Then I think we're just missing a convicted murderer, Jerry should probably put some feelers out for Aaron Hernandez.

I still say Peterson never was an option, and really isn't now. Give up a first round pick AND $15 million in cap hit? His contract is even more absurd in 2016 and 2017. He's now named what, 4 other teams? Cowboys won't pay him what he's owed, nor will they give up a first rounder to get him.


Peterson always was a pipe dream. Come back to reality.

The Cowboys were never going to trade for him to begin with. It was all based on the premise of Peterson forcing the Viking's hand to cut him. He would then sign with the Cowboys at a significantly discounted amount to fit in under the cap.

Obviously the Vikings don't want to let him just walk for nothing, but the trade market for him is virtually zero as well given his age and salary. The Vikings definitely are holding a strong hand in regards to having him under contract. However, Peterson has an equally strong hand in the fact he can simply just refuse to play and they are out both the production and whatever money they can't recoup from him after a grievance is filed.

I think he gets moved at some point before the season starts. It may not be to the Cowboys in a direct or indirect way, but I'm pretty certain he is not on the Viking's roster for the 2015-16 season.

According to Romo, he doesn't really care. He says he's made plenty.


Romo is still making close to the same. They just converted a portion of it to a signing bonus. It does still push money down the road, which is what irritates me.
