Too early to talk DFWM Fantasy football?

I'm playing Evans and crossing my fingers. It's Stallions vs Me for the winner of the DFWM FFL.

My outlook for this week is poor. RB situation is Deangelo Williams, Lacy, Denard Robinson, and Buck Allen. None have good matchups, and Denard only projected to put up 4 points.

One of my stud receivers, Jeffery may miss this week too. I've still got DT, Cooper, Baldwin, and Diggs, but Jeffery has been a pretty consistent top performer.

3rd in our league pays back your buy in, which leaves the other $1800 to first and second place. We're just going to split the pot. Not too shabby for such a disastrous season.

I would think Lacy and D. Will would be a good choice. Ouch at that purse split. We do 1200/800/400, no negotiations.

My only hope is Cam blowing it up - hope the Falcons can make it a shootout this time. My skill guys are/were Maclin, Amendola, Lamar Miller, Tim Hightower, Shaun Draughn, and Gary Barnidge. Depending on whether or not I can pickup Karlos Williams from waivers, I'm likely rolling with Miller and Hightower at RB and Maclin, Ginn and Kamar Aiken at WR/FLEX.

I'm playing against Tyrod Taylor, Brandon Marshall, Sammy Watkins, Adrian Peterson, Matt Forte, Jordan Reed and Doug Baldwin.

My pot is similar to bcoop's - I'm either taking home $1250 or $500, can't complain either way.

The guy I'm going to play for the championship picked Cam up when I dropped him in week 2. He's been loving it. Unfortunately injuries forced me in to that situation.

I'd go with Bryant. Yeah Denver D is good but... I'm sure he'll slip through the cracks.

Defenses have a really hard time covering Brown, Bryant, and Wheaton. They have to pick their poison. I think I'd go Bryant here too.

That's what's so crazy about all this, it's such a crapshoot. The highest rated pros in the world have accuracy ratings if high 50s% percent.

It is definitely a crap shoot, but it takes skill too. I'd have gone Decker over Evans as well. He's just been so damn inconsistent this season. My buddy who has Evans in the keeper league, started Evans over John Brown and I wouldn't have, but it paid off last night.


If I had it to do over again, I would have kept Beckham in my keeper league instead of Lacy. Whoever has him now, probably won't let him go. I wasn't sure what to expect from him with Cruz coming back, sophomore slump, the general state of their offense, etc. My team is crazy hot right now but I've really only got one viable keeper in Jeffery. I'm a huge fan of his and he's top 10 weekly, but he isn't someone I would consider a keeper.
