Yup, halftime adjustments did them in.

As soon as Atlanta realized Weeden wasn't going to throw to a wideout, they shadowed the backs coming out of the backfield and even brought the safeties in to backup the linebacker covering Dunbar. That pretty much killed every pass play in the second half.

I know he is a backup, and I know Dunbar is great out of the backfield, but the wide receivers have to have catches. He has to throw outside the numbers every now and then.

Julio Jones is really that good. They did a good job covering him in the first half. At one point he had 4 catches out of 12 targets.

The defense got tired and the offense couldn't keep the defense off the field. Weeden did exactly what he was supposed to do. He didn't take shots downfield because it wasn't in the game plan or calls. Atlanta beat Dallas the same way Dallas beat everyone last season. By keeping the offense on the field. Garrett had a good game plan coming in, but failed to adjust and he should have known that wasn't going to carry them 60 minutes.

I completely agree. It's just frustrating to watch a game they had a good opportunity to win, and by not making adjustments throw it away. I also know we have quite a few key guys that are injured. Atlanta is a really good team.

Guess you didn't see devonta freeman getting 3 tds? I'm not mad they lost, they're thin right now, but to show out like they did in the first half then drop off in the second is annoying

I saw him, and no one could stop him, which also annoyed the shit out of me. Also, weeden and his great arm never took a shot down field. At least they are not in our division
