Why the fuck is he mouthing off whenever someone gets injured in a combat/full contact sport? Whenever there's a vicious hit on a QB he's always first in line to shoot off how unnecessary it is, etc.

Why are you crying about his comments?
Aikman has a vested interest in the health of the sport. He's also been subject to violent and unnecessary hits.
Injuries only continue to hurt a sport that's already dealing with enough issues.
Full contact doesn't mean free for all...you know that right?

They are. Only those wanting to make something completely out of nothing are trying to split hairs. It's a contact sport. If you want 100% safety and want to bitch about rules, go be a NASCAR fag.Originally posted by Ruffdaddy View PostGetting hurt during normal play and getting hurt on a dirty hit are not the same thing....
So you are all about Aikman's comments how the game was hard to watch after the back injury? LOL...

Do you have an issue with the hit Gronkowski made on Sunday?Originally posted by SS Junk View PostThey are. Only those wanting to make something completely out of nothing are trying to split hairs. It's a contact sport. If you want 100% safety and want to bitch about rules, go be a NASCAR fag.

Kind of a ridiculous question given the fact dude was laying on the ground and he hit him well after the play was over. That has nothing to do with what I'm talking about. Another example of horse shit is when Flacco got hit by Alonso. On a conversion play you have motherfuckers who can run sub 5 second 40yd going full speed at a QB almost head on and he decides to go outside the pocket and attempts to take a late slide, he deserved to get folded. Alonso did his job, yet we have announcers looking at it in slow motion and fans arm chairing saying what a dirty hit it was.Originally posted by cool cat View PostDo you have an issue with the hit Gronkowski made on Sunday?
I can't for the life of me reason how it is a good idea to try and hit someone with the top of the head which can then compress the fuck out of the spine.Originally posted by dsrtuckteezy View Postryan shazier hurt himself with a bad tackle, soo...

I will say they are as well, every player knows there's a possibility of this. as others have said, its a contact sport.Originally posted by Ruffdaddy View PostGetting hurt during normal play and getting hurt on a dirty hit are not the same thing....
As far as NASCAR, you play that game, you assume the risk of dying in a car crash, you assume the risk of someone purposely putting you in the wall, could lead to being maimed or death. No matter what sport, hobby or decision you make, there's repercussions and decisions that you and others make that can affect your life, thats just life.
