Coop, I'm sure he'll get a few more chances other than last night. It's just that his first and last at-bats were awful. He swung at 55' inside curve balls for both 3rd strikes. It seems like he's at an 0-2 count before he even gets to the plate! How can a guy hit .362 at ANY level, then can't hit a bull in the ass with a snow shovel? He makes Cerano (Major League) look like Ted Williams!

It's mental. No doubt about it. Someone else stated that once he gets his first hit out of the way, things may change. And I agree. At this point, it's purely mental. It's fucking with his head too much. But, no more championing for Davis as promised.

I'm thinking if there is another injury, Davis will be Washington's guy. I guess that's the reason they brought him up and are trying to get him some at-bats. Thank God Moreland is working out well in RF and 1st, and Young is DH'ing well when not sharing 1st.

Meh, what does it matter? You've got your own opinions about it, what he says won't change them, and neither of them affect the outcome of the game.

Glad I've been busy tonight and haven't had time to watch much of the game; this has been ugly.
