He's still the #2. Holland #3, Harrison #4, Ogando back to the bullpen.

Is he our number 2 or 3 starter in the playoffs? I am not so sure he will be our number 2.

I know we all harp on Kinsler from time to time for swinging for the fences and aside from his .250 batting average - he's put together a helluva year. Kinsler became the first second baseman in AL history to have 30 home runs, 30 doubles, 100 runs scored and 80 walks in the same season.

In many ways Detriot looks kinda like the Rangers of last year. A good batting order and an ace at the mound. Verlander IMO should get the AL MVP, he's just been lights out this year. The Yankees dont scare me. Its about the same team that we faced last year in the ALCS. They dont have any consistent starting pitchers after Sabathia. The batting order is the same from a year ago. If Wilson, Ogando, Lewis, and Harrison are pitching well then I think we can take them.

Heck, even when Detroit hasn't been lights out like they have been lately, they've still had the Rangers number.

They lead the series this year 7-2.

I think we match up better with them than with Detroit. I think it is a good idea to try and stay away from Verlander

Agreed. They've been playing great baseball for the entire second half of the season and have plenty of pitching for a playoff series.
