Rangers 2011 season thread

Rangers in Baltimore tonight. 6pm start. Lewis is on the mound.

Raining pretty hard up there, game likely won't happen per the Texas Rangers.

There were several (who we won't hear from) before we switched boards. As a matter of fact, there were some comments made in the last few days because he was on a minor league tear...again.

My comments were because of the spring training tear. Will be interesting to see what happens with him. And just a warning, should he make it, I'm going to give you 12 kinds of shit.


I don't have a problem with Moreland at all. That guy is pretty damn good. Just would be nice to have yet another player to play musical chairs with. I like what they are doing there. Hopefully, as the season progresses, that will help keep the team fresh, healthy, etc.

You give me shit already, so what's the difference? Davis always tears up the minors, then can't hit a bull in the ass with a snow-shovel as soon as he gets to Arlington. He just turned 25, so he still has a little time.

Moreland has the 1st base job in my opinion, though I wish Davis was a Cruz story. Funny thing is, I think Moreland played outfield until he came up to the majors.

Cruz lit the world on fire after being put on waivers. Just think, for $20k any team could have claimed him. It looks like we got the better end of that Carlos Lee deal!

I don't know what Davis's problem is. Obviously he wants to perform at the MLB level and he has the talent to do so but it just hasn't happened. I think he really needs a change of scenery. Send him to Boston, they need help badly everywhere.
