Taking 2 of 3 in a series is just the worst!

They got swept in a 4 game series against Baltimore last year going into the All-Star break, they set some kind of record for homeruns against Cliff Lee (team/individual/all-time, something), and then, of course, the Giants beat them 4-1 in the World Series, and now the red-hot Rangers come into town and can't muster 1 run in the first game? 2 of 3 is great, though.

I'd lend a little of Saturday afternoon's game to getting a little out of sync being the road team playing an unscheduled doubleheader. The loss was going to happen eventually and the Orioles had played some decent ball before the series, so getting it out of the way just didn't bother me that much.

You may have a point, though.

I didn't watch the game, but he pitched 1 1/3 and only needed 18 pitches(12 strikes) for 5 batters. Seems ok to me.

Rangers got 3 straight games that start at noon in Detroit now.

Speaking of noticing. Has anyone noticed how GOOD the Rangers pitchers have been so far.

Hamilton made a catch that should of been a hit and maybe even an extra base hit off Feliz, he had another rocket hit off him which put a guy on base

And, I think there was one other really well hit ball that went foul IIRC

To me, he just didn't look like normal

We actually went 6-3 vs Detroit last year. The 2 years prior though (and maybe longer) they OWNED us!

Edit...went back and looked at '09. We were 2-7 against them that year.

Orioles were averaging 5 runs a game in their first two series of the year against two not so terrible pitching staffs; they scored 6 over 3 games against the Rangers.
