Vick paid his dues in court, paid his dues in prison, and is still paying his dues. He's one volunteering mother fucker these days. I vehemently disagree with what he did to get himself in that mess, but EVERYONE deserves a second chance. I agree completely with this! I almost mentioned him, but I just cant see a Wide Reciever as MVP. So I put up Matt Ryan instead. Roddy White has been crazy good this year and way under the radar. Hes been a lock for double digits on my fantasy team!

No. If he had started this season, and had better numbers, he'd be more of a candidate. His numbers just aren't anything close to Bradford's. Because he didn't start back at the beginning of the season, because he has no options (though Bradford has nobody to throw to either), and because Cleveland is a run first team. Granted, he has VERY few mistakes, but Bradford takes it hands down IMO. 10 more TDs, 1000+ more yards, etc.


I'll hand it to him, though. So far, McCoy has done better in the NFL than I ever thought he would do.

McCoy has been suprising and being a Rams fan you would think that I would shut this mess down but I'll have to give him some props. But I do think Bradford is in the running. His numbers are a little off on what Peyton Manning did in his rookie year in 1998

About 50 receptions for about 1,000 yards so far and 6 touchdowns averaging just over 20 yards a catch thru 10 weeks of football.

i'm not saying he would get the MVP award but his stats are amazing right now.

If I had to vote right now at this point in the season I would have to go with Matt Ryan over Vick simply because Ryan has played in every game. Who knows by the end of the season though!

Definitely. I mentioned on the other board that it's a shame Dez won't get it. There would be no question, if he wasn't competing against Bradford. I'm not too upset though, since I'm an OU fan and all.

Why doesn't Matt Ryan or Philip Rivers come into the conversation. Rivers is the only reason the Chargers are still alive. Ryan is leading a good team just as well Brady is.

Matt Ryan does deserve some consideration but not Phillip Rivers. In the 5 games Vick has started, he is 4-1. The only loss was against the Redskins which Vick got hurt early in that game. He has thrown no INT's this season. You have to give it to Vick.
