Mexican food in dfw area

El Asadero in FT Worth is still my favorite. nothing too special but good prices and awesome hot sauce. margaritas are good to. Its on Main not too far from the stockyards

I didn't expect to see anyone else recommend it. Their hot sauce is awesome!

I do think Tex-Mex is more my style. Just grew up on the stuff. But, I had that thing with the enchilada on top of the skirt steak, or whatever, and it was pretty dang good. Tiff had some kind of pork tacos and they were a little on the dry and bland side compared to what I had, but none of it was bad. I'll definitely eat there again. In fact, we've tried to go back a couple of times on a weekday after work, but after driving around looking for a parking spot, we end up going someplace else. That little cluster of restaurants stays packed!

Parking is a cluster fuck, that's my only complaint about any of those three restaurants. They do complimentary valet, just toss the valet dude a couple bucks for a tip.
