Hattie B's - Nashville

I really like Nashville-style hot chicken, so today on my way to Virginia, I stopped off at a new to me joint, Hattie B's, and I couldn't be happier. Holy crap! This place is freakin' awesome. How is hot chicken not more popular outside of Nashville? If you find yourself hungry in Nashville, hit 'em up!

I had medium, and still got into panic-inducing heat here and there (in a good way). They also offer mild and unseasoned, in addition to hot and really hot. Beyond the heat though, this was amazing, perfectly cooked chicken. I can't decide if slaughtering chickens for food before this was a waste of effort on the part of the human race, or if this is some ultimate pinnacle of fried chicken everything else has been building to.
