  • Looking for good cracklins in DFW.

Any suggestions? Also, where is the cheapest place to get crawfish in town?

I think I just saw a package of cracklin at Sprouts, and I was LMAO as I had not seen it in years! The wife never even heard of it.

Make your own. Really easy to do, go to fiesta mart and buy some queritos or pig skin, boil in salted water for 30 minutes. Dehydrate for 1 day in a low temp oven or preferably food dehydrator, then deep fry at 350. The best you'll get anywhere.

Only reason I know about them is from an episode of dirty jobs.

That's what I thought of when I came in here. I don't see how anyone could eat that or fried pig skin.

Without my gun hobby. I would cut off my own dick and let the rats eat it...

It's not the same if there isn't a little meat on the inside of the strips.

never really been a fan of pork rinds or cracklings. That said, there's a joint in downtown Louisville, KY on Main by the name of Doc Crow's. They serve pork rinds hot out of the fryer, and they dump hot sauce on them when they get to the table. They are fucking delicious.

I know that's right. There's only a few places that sell them like that. Dallas Tortillas Factory is one of them.
