Man, there was only 4 of us that showed up last night. I guess the weather and the fact that it's right before Christmas kept some people away.

Maybe Caddy guy will be back out next week.

What all did you have to change to go to a 351 ? I'm debating stepping up to a big Windsor or just staying with what I've got and building a 306 or so and maybe putting a turbo on it.

you will need a differnt dizzy, harmonic balancer, flywheel and headers for sure. If you want to build a 306 again, let me know and I let you know how to get a stock block/internals 306 in the mids 6's safely . I went 6.70's in a 3300lb car on a 150 shot for years. Only 306's faster than mine were grayhorse, his brother and NEAL, but they were all about 500lbs or more lighter than me, and only 2-3 tenths faster and as you know, I still have/had all my ammenities.

Turbo is the way to go though. I built my current motor to take a turbo in the future if I decide to go that route.

Funny Story. So I get downstairs. I observe. Black Floormats with the cobra emblem, And the shift knob I had wanted along with a bunch of other assorted car/room things. NO GEARS. So I'm like WTF it was the only thing on my list. So no gears. IDK what I'm gonna do. I would feel bad to yell/confront at my parents for it, bc they spent alot on everything else, but at the same time I only asked for one thing. I think what probably happened was my mom wouldn't let my dad order them, because she hates my fast car. I bet my dad will probably work it out later and I'll get them, but I can't help but be a little disappointed for now.

Just checked the weather and they bumped up the temp to 74 on Thursday. I'm really wanting to get on the bike!
