Homer = rooting for or against whatever is popular/mainstream and often for an incorrect or nonrelevant reason. For example, I would be a homer if I said the Dallas cowboys are the best because I'm from Dallas and they have the best uniforms. Or Ron Paul wants the Iranians to have a nuclear weapon and blow up the White House with it and then build a mosque in it's place. Or Ron Paul wants to put cocaine in school cafeterias and is pro slavery.
