Every president modifies things to suit them, as they should. That bus we just spent over a million on? The one that burns diesel instead of biofuel or electricity? That one? It'll be replaced by the next president, or heaven forbid, Obama will pick another during his next term .

You have any idea how much money it takes to rent 60-600 rooms in a 5 star hotel, maintain and prepare Air Force 1, load an army of armored limos, suburbans, and transporter vehicles onto C-17 Globemasters, send hundreds of Secret Service agents a week ahead to prepare, etc? A lot of fucking money. A fucking shitload of money. And the president and his family do it all the time. Obama's visit to Mumbai is rumored to have cost $200 million a day. Any visit by the President, or by his family will cost anywhere in the neighborhood of $10-200 million. I hear people bitch that W went to his ranch all the time. Let's clarify something - that was his property - he didn't charge us to rent it - and he conducted a lot of presidential business from there. But most importantly - we were not in the biggest damn recession and economic disaster we've ever seen. To me THAT is the key problem here, he is well aware of this country's problem, and it doesn't appear to phase him whatsoever. It's downright arrogant and disrespectful to not sacrifice anything at all, even when called out on it. The dow plunges, he doesn't cancel his Martha's Vineyard plans - what a piece of trash.
