I hate to say it but texas does not have the money to fight these fires, these small town fire departments are all out of money, just today on the midday news state rep david simpson was asking for fuel donations for fire trucks. the other problem is that the state of texas has never really budgeted or prepared for major wildfires.

as for the price of oil and gas, $1 gas would not happen because of worldwide demand.
