I am, but if I have a son I absolutely refuse to have it done. My wife has already been made aware of this. I have two reasons.
1. It is how we are born. I don't see any reason to remove part of your body unless it is causing you problems (wisdom teeth, prostate, appendix, etc).
2. If it is genital mutilation in girls, why is it ok in boys? I fucking hate that double standard.
Now, if, as an adult one decides to have it done, like getting a tattoo, then that is no problem. This is one of the few things I have ever agreed with San Francisco on. A parent should not have the "right" to mutilate their children. Or make it legal to cut off little girls clits.

I was 13 before I was done. My dad was 17 when I was born and never 'got around to it.' Having it done at that age hurt like a bitch. My son was done when he was born

I'm sure there are some women that won't fuck a guy who is, but by comparison, it's got to be a much smaller group.
For the record, I am and so is my son.

What would you do if there was some sort of medical issue and circumcision was contraindicated for your son?

They did the plastibel ring procedure incorrectly, so he had to be recircumcised before he was 1. Before he was 2, he had another surgery to remove excess scar tissue.
My youngest son's father was adamant about circumcision, I was opposed. He pulled statistics on lower incidence of penile cancer, STDs, and urinary tract infections. I countered with low overall occurrence of penile cancer, the need for safer sex regardless of circumcision, and pointed out that the oldest is circumcised and still had regular UTIs.
Then, I threw out the fact that cultures that still practice female circumcision say it's cleaner and healthier, but it's considered genital mutilation in the US. He had no counter.
He's 9, has never asked why he looked different, has never had a UTI, and has been taught to retract his foreskin. If he elects to have it done at anytime, I'll be more than happy to support and fund his decision.

I had my son done because I didn't want his dick to look like it belonged on a dog.
