Just use that as an example . People who respect the law or even just fear punishment are going to abide by it . If they didnt care what the law says, as your argument would seem to suggest, then no one would give a rip whether or not guns were banned cause theyd simply acquire/own/carry them anyway . Just as criminals do now . But i dare say that the majority of our citizens are respectable to a large degree . Maybe i just have more faith mankind

Cause morality for me at least is not the issue . Like you said people like that are just going to do it anyway . I just thought it would be in the best... human interest to curb the spread of disease where ever possible .

Also the spread of violent crime . With prostitutes come pimps and other such organized crime . Just cause its made legal wouldn't mean that there are no strings attached . Just like you wouldnt be all owed to smoke weed and drive if weed was legal . So youd have more of that crime element as well
