You think one person's taxes, excluding paying for the red tape and people to process the taxes and welfare, can support the government AND pay a person's welfare payments? Really? Right. So what do you want your tax rate to be?

How does one worker pay for one retirees $1.5k/month ss, as well as the costs for their medicare?

    Youre talking 25-30k/yr, each.

With the dubious assumption that it's still around - of course.

The Medis are in even worse shape.

Correct. "Boomers" range from '46-'64 (technically). I wasn't able to vote until '78. Welfare, Social Security, and a host of other entitlement programs came in way before my watch. It's funny though, that Obama (this generations POTUS) has created more debt than all others put together. Then I get blamed.

Not surprising. The majority of colleges are liberal, with liberal agendas. UT is just one of many. I love the town, but hate the politics and general attitude of the population.

First, go ahead and define EXACTLY what you meant when you compared HIS generation to YOUR generation. You laid a bunch on him, without precisely knowing exactly WHICH generation was his, we know yours, since you stated you are 25, YOUR political generation started the DAY you were old enough to vote. While you are at it, go ahead and define the length of time that you consider EACH generation. From your comments, it appeared you meant 20, but since this is your game, go ahead and make up the rules.

When you have decided EXACTLY what you meant, I'll come back and discuss it with you. I can't wait for that right now, as I have things to do.
