    Democrat platform: stop global warming through more regulation

    The 2012 Democrat platform predicts “catastrophic natural disasters” without more government regulation.

    The platform warns that climate change is “one of the biggest threats” facing mankind today:

    “We know that global climate change is one of the biggest threats of this generation – an economic, environmental, and national security catastrophe in the making.”

    It goes on to paint a picture of apocalyptic doom if the government doesn’t stop the planet from overheating:

    The biggest threat facing us right now is that 16trillion debt we have, but yeah, let's not talk about that. Let's add more shit that costs money.
