It supports the farmers, not necessarily the consumers. Look at corn and ethanol, food prices have risen drastically due to something that was suppose to support Americans.

True, but its a start. Osama has given most rights of all crops to Mexico leaving all American's fucked. My relatives in the Midwest who have spend generations farming now have ten's of thousands of Acres sitting idle because Berry's EPA says don't grow nothing, Especially Corn. The fines are massive. IMO and other's they are designed to destroy the American Farmer

That's terrible, What is the amount of the fines? I'd like to know more about this, and maybe supply some pics? This kind of issue would be a great "The government made it too hard to grow" commercial.
