Typical Republicrap *ASS*uming.Originally posted by The King View PostUnlike you, some of us actually lived through an POTUS who was equally inept as Obama has shown himself to be. That ineptness was clearly visible during the debate last night, probably a result of Obama having no teleprompter from which to read a prepared script.
First-person experience trumps emotion every time, "bucko".
1. I'm 49, I was around for Carter
2. All Obama supporters are on welfare. I've never been on it a day in my life.
3. Everyone in Romney's 47% is on welfare, and is a leach on the system.
A. Retirees who have worked all their lives and never taken welfare.
B. Disabled Vets quite often will not pay income taxes.
C. A Family of 4 that owns a house and has 4k interest and makes 31k a year will not pay income taxes. And that with only standard deductions and interest deductions. Add other deductions and their wages can go up without paying income tax.

Google is your friend, so do get back on it and regurgitate some more tidbits since these don't quite cut it. Not bad, but not so good either.
Since you claim to have been "around for Carter", did you vote for him? Do the math before you answer.

I'm not a google warrior I do my own thinking. What in my examples was incorrect?Originally posted by The King View PostGoogle is your friend, so do get back on it and regurgitate some more tidbits since these don't quite cut it. Not bad, but not so good either.

No I didn't vote for carter. The first election I could vote in was Reagan and I voted for Reagan. That doesn't mean I wasn't paying attention earlier.

So you were ultra-conservative in '84 when you were 21, and now you're a flaming Lib at 47?Originally posted by 4eyedwillie View PostI'm not a google warrior I do my own thinking. What in my examples was incorrect?

How can you possibly call yourself a libertarian and side with Johnson and small government and jump in bed with a huge government socialist?Originally posted by 4eyedwillie View PostI'm actually closer ideologically to a Libertarian according to the website that was posted in here last week but since Gary Johnson doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning I have to vote Dem. I matched GJ 87% Obama 58% and Romney 27%. So until a viable third party comes along I'm a Dem.

Your assumption is incorrect that your examples are typical "Republicrap *ASS*uming". Rather, they are nothing but drivel you have regurgitated.Originally posted by 4eyedwillie View PostI'm not a google warrior I do my own thinking. What in my examples was incorrect?
So when you were in your mid-teens you would have voted for Gerald Ford? If so, you were a stodgy teenager with the mindset of a senior citizen well beyond your years. What happened between then and now to turn you?No I didn't vote for carter. The first election I could vote in was Reagan and I voted for Reagan. That doesn't mean I wasn't paying attention earlier.

Because the alternative is a conservative Republican who is totally disconnected from the working class. As I've said in previous posts I don't like EITHER party but until a viable third party comes along my ideology means I'm closer to the Dems than the Repubs. Especially after Bush/Chenny.Originally posted by Forever_frost View PostHow can you possibly call yourself a libertarian and side with Johnson and small government and jump in bed with a huge government socialist?
And the attitude of many repubs that act like Buzzo and The King, calling names and talk down to people reinforce the attitude that Repubs are elitist and think everyone else is beneath them.

Really? Go back and see how many threads and replies talk about how Democrats are all on welfare. And that the 47% are all leaches, if anything the numbers in my examples are understated. Pay attention to the things your brother repubs say.Originally posted by The King View PostYour assumption is incorrect that your examples are typical "Republicrap *ASS*uming". When I voted for reagan I was voting for a strong military. I voted for Bush 1 for the same reason. I wanted to vote for Perot because I believed what he said about Nafta and how it would hurt the middle class and america. Then Bush/Cheny came along and I swore I would never vote for a Replublican again after their lies and bullying.

The irony of that is the way the Libs treated Bush. House members, senator's, the press, and the public.Originally posted by The King View PostIt was you that did the first name-calling here, hotshot. More evidence of your liberal trait of trying to lie your way out of a hole you dug for yourself.

I used to think that I would never vote Democrat again after the Carter presidency, but I did wind up voting for Bill Clinton during his first term. Never regretted doing so, but he's the last Dem I've experienced who was worth voting for.Originally posted by 4eyedwillie View PostThen Bush/Cheny came along and I swore I would never vote for a Replublican again after their lies and bullying.
