Yup, on 09-17-2008, I did have the feeling we were heading towards socialism. I was wrong and I'm not afraid to admit it. Since then I've read tons and educated myself how deep the crisis really was and realized it was the best attempt to keep capitalism running. What's the point?

It was in the best interest of capitalism. Certainly a bitter pill to swallow but it is what it is. Unfortunately we haven't progressed enough to make sure it doesn't happen again (and eventually it will.)

I'd say the Gunny has earned the right to say what he feels more than anyone else being discussed previously on here. Regardless of whether it was the right setting, he has earned the right to say what he wants imo.
