Frost, these are some comments about you that I made to a friend recently. I do not want to turn this thread into an argument, but this may shed some light on why I'm so hard on you.

I like that cat. I really do, and if we can somehow get him out of his Glenn Beck/Fox News induced stupor, he would be a GREAT asset. But people think he's one of those tea bagger loonies that doesn't understand the way the government works, and was designed to work.

Like, he has connections that you and I only dream about, and truth be told, would have the easiest time effecting some change, solely BECAUSE of his status as an outspoken disabled vet.

I care about this country and the direction it's headed in just as much as you do, and I want to see a lot of the same changes you do. Are our views different on some things? Fuck yeah they are, but those details can be hammered out.

I try my best to explain things to you in as simple terms as I know how (maybe I don't grasp the concept well enough to accurately convey my point to you) and you continue with the same line, almost as if you completely ignored everything I said, and never offering an explanation as to either what you didn't understand, or what you think is bullshit. That, to me, is enervating, and that's when I insult you. Because you appear to stick your fingers in your ear and scream LA LA LA LA LA. I would like to have discussions with you about politics and social issues, but it seems like I'm talking to a brick wall sometimes, and maybe I am. Only you know.

I'm hardest on you because you have the ability to do the most.

I await your response, and outside feedback is welcomed also.
