My REAL fear is that the guns were allegedly obtained from his Mother's house and she allegedly acquired them 100% legally. So.... What could have been done to mitigate this situation?!?!~? The only way to stop the big govmt power grab is for states to start taking action and invoking the 10th amendment. Not just this, but the bullshit healthcare bill and everything else. Since the Feds refuse to enforce federal immigration laws and actively prevent states from enforcing them it only seems logical that the states should start refusing to enforce federal gun laws. Or we can just start killing the federal apparatchiks of all sorts and their families.

So if the federal government passes a gun ban of any sort, what stops a state from passing their own laws allowing ownership of guns, much like the legalization of marijuana that's happening.
