Once it blew up on facebook, it came down. As the dates are automatically stamped, I'm not seeing how it could be a fluke. This page was put up on the 10th, about a tragedy that happened on the 14th.

The date is built into the URL so when they updated the date, it updated the URL and invalidated the old URL. I really don't think it's anything more than a typo.

The blog entry and the actual fundraiser page aren't tied together. My guess is the fundraiser was created (here) and the blogger entered the wrong date for the fundraiser.
