We/you/I have no idea who they are aborting. It could be the next Jeffery Dahmer for all we know or it could be the next Einstein. Once again I have no place to tell her that she can't get an abortion if she wants one.

It's not my kid she's carrying and it's not my body she is carrying it in.

If I do something wrong/accidental and a pregnant woman miscarries due to my actions, I get charged with manslaughter. If a woman goes to a clinic and has it done, it isn't an issue.

It is a double standard, and I have a problem with that.

Bingo. If abortion isn't an issue and the fetus isn't alive until birth, then remove the penalty for causing a miscarriage

You'd prolly get in a good bit of trouble for pushing them down the stairs even if they weren't pregnant.

Wrong is one thing, accidental is another.

I see your point, but negligence is decided on a case by case basis.

If they proved you pushed her down the stairs intentionally (assuming she even reports it) you'd be in trouble even if she wasn't pregnant.

I could careless about Abortion. I accept that it's on the law books and probably always will be. I just sleep better at night knowing they are killing future democrats.

It is a personal thing. What a woman does with her body is her business. And she has to answer for it. But, I object to public funding. That's bullshit because they are doing it in my name. Fucking asshole democrats.

Lets say I fail to yield right of way and turn in front of a pregnant woman and we collide, the accident isn't severe and there are no serious injuries, but she miscarries due to the fear/excitement, I believe you can be charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Lets say the pregnant woman and I get into a verbal confrontation and in the excitement/fear she miscarries, same thing, charged with involuntary manslaughter, even though you never laid a hand on her. She can go around the corner and willingly have the kid vacuumed out at the clinic, no issue.

Like someone else said, I'd like that gray area fixed to where it didn't benefit who ever uses it to their agenda.

These threads never go anywhere. You're not going to convince anyone of anything, people have forged opinions and they're not likely to change.

Would I ever want my child aborted? Hell no! Do I give a shit what someone else does to their body? Not really.

It's a personal choice. Even if you don't agree with it, let it go. America is about letting people decide for themselves. I can tolerate and live my own life.
