It cost several thousand dollars, medical and psych evals and I had to sign paperwork stating that she woudln't go on welfare and if she did, they'd come after me. Fuck illegals. Come on Randy. There are more legals than you think doing it. Hell, how else would all the builders be able to get houses built? You drive through DR Hortons neighborhoods and all they have building, for the most part, are mexicans, and I know they are pretty stringent on their checks.

But, maybe I'm just naive.

When I added on to my house, I told the contractors that I didn't want any illegals working it. All of them complied except maybe the concrete guy. I don't know if his guys were all legal, but they could speak English.

Having a social doesn't make them legal, just smart enough to play the game. You pay the lead, who in turn pays his guys, the way that most of us in this deal do. Plausible deniability.
