  • Obama to cut medical benefits for active, retired military, not union workers

    http://www.examiner.com/article/obam...-union-workers

In an effort to cut defense spending, the Obama Administration plans to cut health benefits for active duty and retired military personnel and their families while not touching the benefits enjoyed by unionized civilian defense workers.

The move, congressional aides suggested, is to force those individuals into Obamacare,
Don't worry about what you can't change.
Do the best you can with what you have.
Be honest, even if it hurts.

I got my notification last week that I was being dropped from Prime. I called today and they told me if I wanted to get back on Prime, I'd have to drive to Dallas or Ft. Worth for care.

It kicks in on September 1. Anyone outside of 40 miles of a military base are dropped onto standard with higher fees, higher prescription costs and higher doctor visit fees.

Yeah I did hear about that. My dad did 11 years active and 11 years national guard. They live at 50 miles from NAS Fort Worth.

Most certainly if you have to go to one or the other, go to the Fort Worth facility.....much newer and Dallas simply all around sucks in the first place.

Barry-Care is being exposed for what it is: a socialized health program that will never work. Now they're finding out (among other things) that veterinarians are NOT exempt from the new "medical device" taxes. Get ready for vet bills to sky-rocket, too.
