Prove to me they owned this land before I did. Oh, and that's ignoring that the indians didn't believe you could own land (an idea shared by the federal and state government). I'll wait.Originally posted by dee View PostHow about the land you are standing on?I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

They (as in Indians in general) owned it long before the white man ever set foot on it.Originally posted by Forever_frost View PostProve to me they owned this land before I did. They might have initially said they didn't "own" the land but that was before they were forcefully moved to reservations and shot when they protested."It's another burrito, it's a cold Lone Star in my hand!"

who owned it before them? Are you saying these individuals have a right to property that was bought (no matter the currency or price) or taken through war fought by their ancestors a century ago?Originally posted by dee View PostThey (as in Indians in general) owned it long before the white man ever set foot on it.

Do you have a right to claim your stolen property? I'm not saying it is right to bail them out but to say that the "U.S." doesn't owe them a thing is wrong in my book. They have nowhere near been paid for the wrong doings of the past and I'm sure never will.Originally posted by Forever_frost View Postwho owned it before them? The US has been paying them for almost a century. They are paid in full and run multi-billion dollar enterprises. Tell me what property was stolen. You cannot leave a $20 on the ground, see someone pick it up, completely ignore it for generations and then call the guy up and say "Remember that 20? I want 500k for it. I was victimized."Originally posted by dee View PostDo you have a right to claim your stolen property? No bitch. Your ancestors were. Just like the assholes who claim slavery has harmed them. No it hasn't. You've had generations without it. Suck it up. They haven't been paid for the wrong doings? What about the people they harmed? You know, the other tribes they wiped out, the settlers they killed and all of the money they have taken. If they're independent nations, they get nothing.I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

Reported for unconstitutionality.Originally posted by bcoop View PostJesus Christ....Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

I lease my land from an old T-rex that owned it for a few million years.Originally posted by dee View PostThey (as in Indians in general) owned it long before the white man ever set foot on it.

I have no idea how you'd get that idea. My land, fuck off. If you think you want it, bring a checkbook or more guns than me. Indians either sold the land or lost it in war. One of the bad things of losing a war. You lose land.Originally posted by dee View PostSo I assume you a huge fan of eminent domain as well.I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool
