Evidently it takes 12 hours to get in the air from an alert. I've done infantry alerts and we were moving in 10 minutes or less. I imagine it's less with jets

I've seen helos up no more than 2 minutes after stuff happened.

I know a Jet may take a tad longer, but yeah - we all know it's crap.
