                I mean big government. Instead of using the current generated state tax and budgeting for said amount they realize they have a short fall and use big brother tactics and make up bull shit "taxes". From an outsider p.o.v. it seems Texas has some insane taxes. Your one benefit is the lack of state income tax. But the insane property taxes if you own a house makes the no income tax a mute point.
