It is insane to compare that with folks too lazy to work, popping out kids and buying beer/cigs with our tax dollars. I'd focus more on the negative side of government cheese abuse than poking at those who did their jobs and earned the cheese with blood.

Nope, part of raising and supporting the Army is paying when said soldiers are injured. I actually did some research on that before I even went to the VA for care. And my DoD ID still says Department of the Army so pretty sure still counts.
