The republicans will attempt to destroy cruz when he runs for the nomination. If he wins the republican primaries they will be in deep shit. Cruz will have both the repubs and democrats trying to destroy him. He is truly the most dangerous man in Washington."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

That's one reason I hope he stays in the senate for now. He can do a lot of good "damage" in the senate.Originally posted by CJ View PostThe republicans will attempt to destroy cruz when he runs for the nomination. I personally don't see how one man can make enough changes to really make a difference.
There needs to be a lot more changes from the ground up and the self serving rep/dem parties needed gutted. They do nothing for the country's best interests and none of them will take on the bigger issues - such as illegal immigration.
I concur, it's better to have the good ones at the lower levels.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

Your acting like that wasn't a rehearsed and prearranged speech. Cruz knew she was coming, and was prepared with an awesome retort.Originally posted by The King View PostI would like to see Obama (without teleprompter) go face-to-face with Ted.
I would like to see a lot of Washington get together each month and have public debates on issues coming up. Maybe that would open a line of communication that has some thought behind it.

I don't doubt that this was a rehearsed and/or scripted event. I still would like to see Cruz and Obama square off face-to-face. Even with practice and coaching, I can foresee Obama stumbling ad nauseum over his usual "uhhhhhs" in such a meeting, and maybe even throwing a mild temper tantrum.Originally posted by John -- '02 HAWK View PostYour acting like that wasn't a rehearsed and prearranged speech. As much as I hate to admit it, he didn't do too bad a job in the second debate last year. He did get his face stomped on in the first one though.

It's pretty easy to look good when you lie to peoples faces, and the moderator is there to agree with your lies.Originally posted by talisman View PostAs much as I hate to admit it, he didn't do too bad a job in the second debate last year. He did get his face stomped on in the first one though.
There was a comment made about one of his speeches, and both the moderator and Obama were completely wrong about a point of contention Romney brought up. I can't recall what it was though."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

It was about Benghazi.... Conservatives of any stripe aren't going to get a fair shake in the mainstream media.Originally posted by CJ View PostIt's pretty easy to look good when you lie to peoples faces, and the moderator is there to agree with your lies.

I think Cruz could be a much more formidable opponent than Mitt was though, and if Obama lost control and got mad who knows what kind of meltdown he might display?Originally posted by talisman View PostAs much as I hate to admit it, he didn't do too bad a job in the second debate last year.
