I don't agree with this. It needs to be curtailed a lot and to be used only temporarily and with lifetime usage limits with strict enrollment guidelines, but sometimes folks just need some help.

And for them there are food pantries run by churches and communities with a FAR lower overhead than what is currently required to run the system in place.

Charity and assistance has ALWAYS been best handled when left to those that do it at a local level and that do it out of kindness and servitude instead of socialism. That is all that is needed.
