is this issue really worth bankrupting a state government? your going to spend a million dollars on the legislation, and then millions more fighting legal challenges, and even if you win all obama has to do is show you a piece of paper. your going to spend millions of dollars your state does not have, and in the end you state is bankrupt and begging the federal government for a bail out.

Why are you changing the subject? I would think that upholding the Constitution is a primary concern of the state and federal governments.Originally posted by Cannonball996 View Postdoes obama have any chance in hell at winning arizona? NO
then why waste time money and resources on something like this? I am sure there are more pressing matters that the arizona legislature should be attending to. their state is out of money, you would think that would be priority number 1. A law like this will cost the state millions in legal challenges, after all lawyers do not work for free, yet they wonder why they are out of money
Do you disagree with that assessment?

What is government fiduciary responsibility worth when the very document constraining authority of the government, as granted by We the People, is quite possibly compromised? If O-snafu were eligible, he'd have made with the birth certificate and squashed this whole thing right from the beginning. But he didn't. Why don't you have a problem with this?Originally posted by Cannonball996 View Postis this issue really worth bankrupting a state government? your going to spend a million dollars on the legislation, and then millions more fighting legal challenges, and even if you win all obama has to do is show you a piece of paper. your going to spend millions of dollars your state does not have, and in the end you state is bankrupt and begging the federal government for a bail out.
Do you put a price on your responsibilities as an American citizen and say 'fuck it' because it's inconvenient or expensive to safeguard the very principals our nation was founded on? What should the States use our money for except to fight for us? Seriously, what better use of tax money could you possibly conceive of except to safeguard the integrity of our government, particularly when our representatives hold enough authority - by our consent - to drastically curtail our liberties if no one challenges them?Men have become the tools of their tools.

first of all, where the millions of dollars to come from? arizona has an 800+ million dollar deficit at the moment, the money is not even there. so they are going to have to off set the costs some how, that means laying off a few police officers, and releasing a few criminals from state prisons.Originally posted by MOSFET View PostWhat is government fiduciary responsibility worth when the very document constraining authority of the government, as granted by We the People, is quite possibly compromised? so is your state and society really better off? All because you forced obama to show you his birth certificate, and now you can sleep better at night knowing he was born in the USA.
