I would have to add the word "extreme" to both labels. I would say that I'm a conservative, but I don't give a shit about gays getting married or legalizing weed.
I add to this that I don't give a chit about who or to what cause Emmitt donates his own money. It's his to use as he sees fit.
Could be a pay to play type deal. He and his brother own a construction company and having strong ties with a potential governor could pay off well in the future.
