Oregon started experiencing this years ago, POS cali families moving up from their 300k shithole home, buying something in a nice neighborhood, and fucking it all up. then voting in stupid ass laws and taxes, bringing their gang affiliations, drug crimes, etc

There used to be bumper stickers all over that said "Save Oregon - Nuke California". That is a generally well accepted mindset in the PNW.

Some of the blame also has to lie with the voter who would vote against them if the actually got off their lazy asses and voted. The commies are far outnumbered in a state where theyre not even wanted

I will say that growing up in LA, they really did need to take some drastic steps to control the smog. And there has been a huge improvement as compared to when I was a kid.

I think someone could float a bill to raise gas tax by $.15-18/per gallon, provide the math to support, and shut toll roads down - then let the voters decide.

But then I have to help pay for your toll road that I will rarely if ever use! I'd rather the toll roads stay and taxes do not increase.

Of course, if and when I am forced to drive toll roads I'm sure my opinion will change.

But the ability around them is going away. Take a trip down 121 from Mckinney to Ft. Worth. The only direct shot is being converted to tolls and the way around it hasn't been built yet.
