I'd be more worried about the Mormons taking over than the Muslims. They already have their own state, 7 US senators and won the GOP nomination for POTUS last go round.Originally posted by Darren M View PostInteresting. Does this put Sharia, almost as a whole, under scrutiny? As I understand it, which is very little, it is like Sharia is a replacement for our Laws, right?
Until you see polygamy legalized I wouldn't worry too much about Sharia law in the United States.

I'm betting you're trying to be funny. But honestly, that's a pretty ignorant statement. The LDS Church does not support polygamy. A certain sect does. But their number is MUCH fewer, and arguably less destructive, than that of radical Muslims.Originally posted by BP View PostI'd be more worried about the Mormons taking over than the Muslims. I'm not Mormom, but thanks for trying. This type of attempt is like me bitching about your incorrect punctuation of "aren't".Originally posted by ELVIS View Postyou are wearing your magic underwear arent you??

Ervil LeBaron and his sect (Church of the Lamb of God) killed at least 25 people in the name of their religion, the most recent being in 1988. Granted they are extremists and in no way supported by the Mormon church. They practice polygamy and blood atonement.Originally posted by GhostTX View PostThey haven't slaughtered anybody for the past 157 years in the name of religion (that I'm aware of).
