This is my 4th Taurus pistol, and it's never had any sort of hickup in the ~200ish rounds that Ive put through it, just like the other 3.

My Ruger and Kahr both had issues, FTF and FTE's.

Im not a fanboy, but I also dont get caught up in the gossip that the hardcore gun nuts love to chatter about. It works. Ive tested it, and it's worked every time. It may not be the best gun out there, but I dont expect it to be. It's also for extreme emergency use only, and if it gets stolen out of my car when I am not able to carry, like at work, then Im only out a few hundred bucks.

I dont see how being this has any basis for you arguing in circles about a law that's negating a law that never should have been on the books in the first place, nor does it make you right.

See, I may not open carry every day if it's legal, but I would from time to time. When it's too hot to wear anything that will actually conceal a full size 1911, I have to switch to something smaller like an LCP 380. Open carrying makes far more sense than concealed carry and I may do both at the same time.

It's a right to keep and bear arms, not a privilege and it shouldn't be up for government to regulate it.

What do they need to prepare for? Seeing guns? That makes no sense to me. Maybe just a way to push it back a little farther

If these people were normal, I'd agree with you. But in my experience yes, just SEEING a gun sends most types of LEO's into near freak out mode. That gun can be nowhere near a person, or even in a shape that would never allow it to fire. They seem to be just short of flying into a panic. I guess its just who they like to hire.
