LOL No doubt. I could afford a shiny new McLaren easily, but that has nothing to do with how well or not I'm doing. Also ROFL in Shanaynay's friend not liking someone for having Daddy's money since that's exactly what he has.Originally posted by Broncojohnny View PostI always love how poor people are impressed by shiny shit that anyone can finance.

That's some more of that super tolerant liberalism.
Do you understand the difference between wants and needs? Have you ever heard the saying, "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should"?Originally posted by Tremor14 View PostYeah, it's amazing, how is your ZR1 coming along?Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

Seems like Rodney is constantly bringing up the successes of those he grew up with (friends, siblings, etc). It must be really gratifying to see people take advantage of the opportunities they've been given in life.Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Vicariously is the word we're looking for.Originally posted by slow99 View PostSeems like Rodney is constantly bringing up the successes of those he grew up with (friends, siblings, etc). It must be really gratifying to see people take advantage of the opportunities they've been given in life.
Living vicariously, must suck to have all these successful acquaintances and then spend years working on a 60 year old truck in a ramshackle garage.G'Day Mate

This “small loan” was a million dollars. 1 million dollars back then is equal to about 8 million today. So this is far from a small loan. He also was given his dads business which was equal to about 24 million back then. When his dad died in 99 he was given another chunk of money in the tune of around 100 mil. Anyways my main point on Trump is he is not self-made. He has done a fantastic job as branding/marketing himself and licensing his name. He is like an actor who makes himself into a brand and be popular. This doesn’t mean he is running a business. The times he has actually ran businesses he ran them into the ground. 4 of his businesses that he ran he ran them into BK. So not only does he have a horrible “business” track record he was handed a ton of money from his father.I know it's already been brought up, but I found this absolutely hilarious. So your trust fund baby friend has a lot of shit to talk about... another trust fund baby.Originally posted by Tremor14 View Posthis dad was one of the three original founders of quicksilver. When the government pays, the government controls.

I'd like to know why living in Texas for the past 10 years is a bad thing? Why would I want to move to state where housing prices are insane, cost of living in general is higher, gun rights are suppressed and I'm taxed out the wazoo? Like living in that state, Commieforina, is a "smart" thing and somehow living there invalidates any argument we make because we live in Texas?Originally posted by Tremor14 View Postat the end of the day, they guy is 33,l, has a coastal view in newport beach CA, drives a new amg s63, and has a wife and kid. i'd say he's done something good, and made some good choices.
and as Abec pointed out, alot of you havent left TX in the last 10 years."Self-government won't work without self-discipline." - Paul Harvey
