I feel bad for the wasted positive opportunities and a happy life in general, but I don't feel bad for them personally. They knew the risks of drugs before they got caught up in it and yet they chose to do it anyway. Natural selection.

See if they have time and time turned down help I agree, I have lost a lot of people over the years to this. But some of these people are mentally ill, others are broken vets and there is also what I call being born in war, people born into these crack houses with little chance for them to escape their involvement. I have been to some of the shittiest ghettos in the US for work and it is a sad but fascinating thing to observe.
