Got family in medical, the numbers are going up. More covid admissions. It looks as though it primarily affects dark skinned people the most/worst, as well as + blood types. People who are lighter skinned (they mean white) and negative blood type either don't show symptoms or the symptoms are mild. At least that's what's going around at their meetings.

Anyone else here work in or have someone who works in medical? Nurse/doctor? If so what are they saying?

      • It’s all a bunch of blue city / MSM BS at this point: cases, cases, cases....

It’s the last RRREEEEEEE of the commies before the election to inauguration riots.

        • Just got back from voting and was surprised that they did not require face masks. Took two hours. Can’t believe they only have 1 check in.

          • They touted on the local news this AM during a political segment that according to the FBI database, there have been more guns purchased to date this year, than the previous record year. While they may be telling the truth, what does it have to do with the cost of the tea in china?

They were also talking about being prepared for violence, boarding up stores, etc. for when the election doesn't work out the way the violent side wants it to. And that is not about the cost of tea in China either.

                • I voted in McKinney at lunch. No line, easy in and out. Probably took 7 mins total. We need every vote we can get today, because the "missing" ballots are ready to go when they need them.

That’s one way to look at it, and true.

Maybe most, but there are a decent amount of other voters mixed in there.

                        • Are we still turning Texas blue?

I was surprised by the amount of yankee idiots that still voted for Biden. Lesson learned I suppose.

                          • The amount of CA & NY people that are moving here, it’s inevitable.

Austin just slit its own throat with passing Prop A (tunneling a train under downtown “to ease congestion” (an oversimplification, but you get the point)) which means a property tax hike of 25%, and they re-elected the most dangerous socialist ever to the city council.
Ronald Reagan:"Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."

Homer: "Bart...there's 2 things I know about women. Never give them nicknames like "jumbo" or "boxcar" and always keep receipts...it makes you look like a business man."
