It's also based on data that shows audience retention, so if your average viewer spends only 2-3 minutes on your video, put the message you want out in there then expand on it. It's dumb, but attention spans are short these days.Originally posted by stevoNot a good idea to go Tim 'The Toolman' Taylor on the power phallus.

MD's who practice in the US who got their training outside of the US are typically incredibly good doctors and that comes from how we vet them before giving them a license to practice in our country. Most MD's who graduated from US medical schools and who practice in the US could not meet the standards that we hold foreign doctors to.Originally posted by scootro View Postand another thing that doctor that said the vaccine is full of shit she can barely speak english and i highly doubt dumbass is a doctor. btw screw that vaccine! I'm not taking it anytime soon.Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

More succinctly, she's smarter in two languages than he is in one.

This is because people have minimal intelligence and attention span. They look for the shiny pictures or YouTube video because they have minimal intelligence and attention span. Repeating the information you want them to understand works well with people who have minimal intelligence and attention span...Originally posted by line-em-up View PostSomething I see a lot nowadays is the way they write articles. The will say the exact smae thing 3 times before they move on to the rest of the story.

Complete opposite in my experience.

Please show me your non anecdotal evidence. Medical school training in most 2nd/3rd world countries is not as thorough and rigorous as it is here…this goes for residency training as well. So naturally we make those wanting to come here prove they are on par with US physicians.
You say some outlandish stuff on here, but claiming that most physicians in this country couldn’t pass the rigorous selection process for FMGs is asinine.

That's the AMAs opinion, not mine. I'm just repeating what they've written. We're also talking actual MD's who are specialists and not nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, or general practitioners. The most gifted neurologist I've ever met who is beyond a genius, looks like a supermodel, and has a hard time with the English language went to medical school in the Ukraine and it took her three years to get her license here in Texas. The neighborhood I'm sitting in right now as I'm writing this is full end to end with surgeons who are all Indian. One of my clients sons who is a close personal friend is a neurosurgeon who is finishing his residency and his opinion is that the doctor's he has worked with who are foreign born and educated are more skilled and more knowledgeable than the American doctors he's worked with. Granted, his opinion is anecdotal just like yours but he really likes the Indian surgeons that he works with.Originally posted by davbrucas View PostPlease show me your non anecdotal evidence.
